Your Experience will start 2-3 weeks prior to your session with a personalized consultation where we will sit down and start planning hair, make up, locations, outfits and style of your session – We have all the details covered.
Following the consultation we will be available to answer any other questions that may come up. You will have exclusive access to Sheri and her fashion advice in the weeks leading up to your senior session so you will not have to stress about anything.
On the day of your session while you have your hair and makeup done by one of our stylists, Sheri will go through all of your clothing and select the perfect compliments for you and your locations. – You are going to look phenomenal! We will head out for the senior experience of a lifetime!
This is the Senior Experience for those that truly want their story to be heard.
Where will your adventure take us? Perhaps, into the night? Maybe some thing a little more unconventional and off the beaten path? We cannot wait to find out!
Our hair and makeup artist will be along for the entire session to make sure you look your absolute best the entire shoot. Want to change your look? No problem.

What Happens After You Book a Session?
We will send you all of the info to get you prepped and ready including our what to wear guide and style boards to help with inspiration for YOUR senior session. We also send a questionnaire so we can get to know you better and start brainstorming your senior session!
We schedule and in-person consultation where we go over all of the details including location, hair, makeup, and the style/vibe of your shoot. We want you to know we are here to guide you through all of this. If you have ideas or locations in mind, we are all ears and would love to hear about them! If you have no idea (totally common by the way) don’t stress, we will make sure that we capture the perfect senior portraits you are looking for!
What Happens After We Shoot?
We send a sneak peek from your session because we are usually too excited not to share!
We also plan a dedicated viewing session for you and your family on the big screen at our studio to view the final images from your session. We guide you through the selection process and help you decide what will work best for you and your family.
We believe your images should be shared online but it is equally, if not more important to have them printed. A digital file is not a permanent way to save an image. A printed picture that can be passed on for generations becomes an heirloom and that becomes invaluable.
We have many different options for displaying your portraits from custom leather bound albums to wall groupings and fine art prints. It is our job with the assistance of dedicated software to help you through this process. We can even show you what wall portraits and groupings would look like on your walls!
Pricing & Investment
Distinction Photo is a premium senior portrait experience, and our pricing reflects the level of planning, customization, and care that goes into each session. Most Distinction Photo families invest between $2,000 and $4,000 in their senior portraits and artwork, depending on the session and what they choose to take home.
We photograph a limited number of seniors each year so we can give every client a thoughtful, highly personalized experience. If you have questions about pricing, payment options, or which session may be the best fit, we’re always happy to help.
